In January of 2001, Dr. Mershon of Life's Answers in Georgia U.S.A., has planted a church at our base in Tongaat, and has ordained Tinus Lindeque as the Pastor. Since then we have planted two churches, one in Harare Zimbabwe, and one in Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape Province. They are both running very well and God is adding the numbers, in all three the churches.
We are not expecting the main church on the base to explode and grow, as this is our training centre, from where we go out to plant churches. So both the new churches are bigger and stronger than us in numbers! It is our policy to take of our own people and train them, to Pastor these churches, which we have done with the first one we started at Harare, it is Pastored by Past. Joseph Kaunda, who is one of our 2003 Bible School Students.
The other one in Uitenhage, is pastored by Leon & Glynnis Vrolick, who had been under our ministry for more than 15 years.
Currently we are ready to start the next church, and it will be up and running in the next couple of months! It is our aim to plant at least three churches a year! as they grow and are established we will add soup kitchens, schools and skills learning centers to them!
